ScopeThis Privacy Policy explains how Neuvana Systems Private Limited (“we”, “us”) handles information when merchants use RestroIQ (web-based POS) in India and internationally.
1. Data We Process
- Account & Business Data: business name, contact details, GST/VAT or tax IDs, billing details.
- Operational Data: menus/items, tables, orders, invoices, taxes, inventory, staff roles, device IDs, logs.
- Payment Data: payment status, modes, and gateway references (we do not store full card details; such data is handled by payment partners where applicable).
- End-Customer Data (your diners): names, contact numbers/emails, order history, feedback, loyalty, addresses for delivery if collected by you.
- Support & Diagnostics: tickets, chat/email content, crash reports, usage analytics, and cookies/SDK events.
2. How We Use Data
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Set up accounts, process billing, and communicate about service changes.
- Enable integrations requested by you.
- Prevent fraud, enforce Terms, comply with legal obligations.
- Aggregate/anonymize data for product analytics and benchmarks (no identification of your business in published materials without consent).
3. Legal Bases / Compliance
We process data to perform our contract with you, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests (e.g., product security and improvement). Where consent is required (e.g., certain marketing), we will seek it or rely on your recorded consent from end customers as applicable under local laws.

- Service Providers & Integrations: hosting, analytics, payment gateways, accounting/delivery partners—only to perform services you request.
- Affiliates & Professional Advisors: for business operations and compliance.
- Legal & Safety: to comply with law or protect rights, property, users, and the public.
- We do not sell personal data.

We may process/store data in India or other countries. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the risk (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, backups). No system is 100% secure; you must implement reasonable in-restaurant/device security and access hygiene.

We retain data for your subscription period and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may request export/deletion subject to legal/contractual limits and our Data Requests section.
8. Your Responsibilities (Controller Relationship)
- Obtain necessary notices/consents from your diners/staff before collecting and sharing their data with us.
- Configure retention, access roles, and integrations responsibly.
- Respond to your end-customers’ privacy requests; we assist where legally required and technically feasible.
9. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use necessary cookies for authentication and security, and functional/analytics cookies to improve features. Browser settings may limit cookies, which can affect functionality.
10. Your Choices & Rights
- Access, correct, or delete certain data via the dashboard or by contacting us.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
- Export available data before subscription end or termination.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18.

We may update this Policy periodically and will revise the “Last updated” date when we do.
